Ive had this 3DS for so long and wanted to look at old pictures and videos i took, but whenever i go into the camera app it gives me this message and i have no option but to power it off. Ive tried it multiple times and just wanted to see if anyone knows how to fix this before contacting support. Thanks!!

Try opening Face Raiders/AR Games, does the camera work, or does it also crash? If so, the camera is either broken or disconnected
