    1. This title will hold regular in-game events, with the first event scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 10th.

      Event Name
      Flycatcher’s Cotton Collection
      Event period
      March 10th (Tuesday) 5:00 – March 25th (Wednesday) 4:59

About the event “Haneko’s Cotton Collection”

The cottonweed Pokémon, Hoppip, is coming to your town.
Collect the special item “Cottonage” available during the event and become friends with Hoppip, Popopip, and Cottonweed!
You can become friends with Hopokko, Popokko, and Watakko by fulfilling the conditions within the event during this period. In addition, the “Cotton” collected during the period can be exchanged for items such as picnic-themed furniture, and by creating habitats with these items, you can become friends with “Popokko” and “Watakko.”
Please participate in the event and enjoy building a spring-like town.

*This event only occurs in towns where the Pokémon Center has been repaired. It does not occur on Cloud Island.

Hopefully the pokemon center preorders will be done processing by then.

Isn’t it a bit early to have a limited time event when people who bought it physically online might not even have it by release date or even 7 days into? Wish they give players more time to experience the game as is and maybe drop the event a month or even just 2 weeks in after release.

    4. I admit, as someone who bounced off HARD this gen from Nintendo, to the point that they knocked off my rose tinted nintendo glasses off my face, Pokopia is a game that made me almost forgive them and get a S2. I say almost.

It’s a shame it had to be a gamekeycard only title. And 70€ still feels unjustifiably high for a pokemon skinned dragonquest builders 3.

They really did so many strikes for me, it keeps pulling me back to the point where I’m annoyed by them.

Same with Pokemon champions. Almost considered joining… until I saw how stupidly disgusting the monetization was implemented. Even if it starts « okay » we all know where gacha eventually ends up… especially in a competitive game.

For anyone who has faith, good for you. I tried to believe and Unite showed me why I never should have and that ever trusting them is going to be on me, not on them.

    5. For a game that’s only 6.5 gigs I don’t blame them making it a GKC.

I’m in the opinion that the game will be changing SO MUCH thru out its life(events, new characters, features, etc) that IF the game were actually physical it would be obsolete in a few years. So much so that the physical card WOULD turn into a pseudo GKC.

Of course I still dislike GKCs, but I don’t think saving SDD space would have been a “plus” in the long run when it comes to THIS particular game.

I see a lot of people complaining about timed events, and I think that’s absolutely valid

Personally, stoked for this kind of thing. There’s only so much content the game can have so little events like Animal Crossing has seems like a decently fun way to keep me in my save longer than a set amount of objectives.

This is par for the course folks. A bunch of free events rolling out over time is a good thing. Hello Kitty Island Adventure does it, Animal Crossing does it, every mobile cozy game does it. It’s good for the game to get ongoing support and none of this is likely to be one and done.

Just got an email today that my preorder will not be available for pickup tomorrow and will be delayed instead. With no specification on how long the delay will be.

I am ✨ absolutely delighted ✨hearing about limited time events now.

Not a fan of these FOMO-style events, especially not in a chill sim where you may want to play at your own pace

Does anyone know if saves can transfer from the Switch to the Switch 2? I really want to grab this game, but I also know it’s gonna be way better on the Switch 2.

Currently saving up for one, I just wanted to see if transferring saves was possible.

    11. This sucks. I’m not playing the game until the last ish week of March. I’ll miss this event…
