Returnal is amazing. I’m so glad Saros is coming out soon. Looks like my strategy of having a PS5 in order to play all the games I want is working out nicely.

Games are in this weird spot right now where the abundance of good games has never been better, but the *business* of games has never been worse.

I don’t currently own a PC powerful enough to run current-gen Sony titles, but it is a bummer that they are pivoting away from releasing their games on more platforms.

    3. I just remembered, Sony acquired Nixxes to work on PC ports. I’m guessing we’re going to have to say goodbye to Nixxes too now.

    4. The Dualsense for Returnal was so good that I nearly played with it on PC despite always preferring playing shooters with m+kb. Will definitely buy Saros regardless since I own a PS5 , but I hope that Sony allows you to play with m+kb on PS6, especially with the way gaming is becoming more PC focused these days.

Edit: Further to the point of allowing m+kb on PS6, I actually think it’d be a really positive move for Sony. While I do think the “PC players cheat at games!” is overstated in the mp space, the fact that games are now allowing people to turn off crossplay to lower the chances of encountering cheaters would mean that if m+kb is allowed on consoles, you’d likely get some people that would choose to buy a mp shooter on PS6 over PC.

    5. Used to be the game I looked forward the most for 2026, but footage seems way too much of a Returnal reskin.

I adore Returnal, but many sequels in recent years felt too much like the first game, thereby failing to excite.

Jedi Survivor, Tears of the Kingdom, Death Stranding 2. All great games that felt like an 8/10 merely due to being a sequel

Hope I’m wrong with this one!

Saros seems to take everything from Returnal and make it even more accessible.

This is gonna be (should be) a hit.

On the actual news: Idk man. I’m exhausted on talking game politics. Sony single player games exclusivity works for them in line with Nintendo, so I guess they feel competition needs to remain as such.

This is a really dumb strategy by Sony. It’s not going to make people who would buy this on PC buy a PlayStation, and it stops people from buying the games on PC after they’ve already bought them on PS5 (which I have done several times).

    8. Damn, although I did stop buying ps5 games once I got a powerful pc cuz the games are cheaper. So. I guess I can’t blame them.

Bought a new controller to play this game cause my old controller was a piece of shit and guess what? My brand new controller I purchased from PlayStation website came with a sticky square button and super sticky center button. Will still probably buy this game but fuck PlayStation and their shitty ass controllers. Definitely never buying PS6. PC gang for life now

This is incredibly unfortunate. I can’t play shooters with a controller, especially fast paced ones like Returnal.

I would buy Saros in a heartbeat if it was on PC.

Looks like Sony won’t be getting a sale here 🙁
