    I did ask about console performance, since all the footage including my own up until now, has been on PC. And the answer I got from them was actually pretty respectable.

      I’m not really involved in this drama but isn’t performance before launch what people really want to see? if the game runs like shit or smooth as butter, you can see it in the stream of any average joe at launch.

      DF is the perfect channel for this, so this is cool of them. Honestly, I believe them, at least PS5 Pro since it’s going to use PSSR 2.

      These comments would make sense 3months ago, not now. If you are confident in a good console performance then… show it?

      Admittedly probably the best thing to say in this situation, but still doesn’t exactly mean things are good. It’s still peculiar that his replies are always “you’ll see when it’s out” rather than “it runs perfectly fine don’t worry here’s a gameplay video”.

      For reference, CD Projekt Red also sent Cyberpunk to Digital Foundry at launch…

      Better this than what CDPR did with CP2077 fiasco on last gen. They should have cancel those versions.

      I remember I was playing Monster Hunter Wilds, a game I didn’t like but respected the hell out of. I thought the character models were slick and things felt quite smooth.

      Then they said that the textures were awful and the game ran like garbage (for a lack of better terms). I thought it was just fine, like did I miss something here?

      I’m not knocking their expertise here but I hope for the best in this scenario because if it’s good, no one will say much. But if it’s bad then no one will shut up about it.

      Will their analysis video be released before the game tho? That is the big question here

      That sounds promising to me. If the performance sucked I doubt they would do this. Seems like they feel confident with their game.

      This game does not look very cool. Reminds me of a generic MMORPG. I am not sure if I will buy it.
