So before anyone comes after me due to the condition of my 3ds. I’ve had this one since I was a kid and I didn’t really have the habit of taking care of my stuff that much back then. I basically went by the if it works it works mindset. Now as a somewhat adult I’ve rediscovered this gem and I want to refurbish it and get it looking new and shiny again since I’ll be modding it. I’ll obviously have to clean it from the inside as well since there’s dirt in between the buttons and I’ll need to do a stick replacement. However I’m not so sure if the screens need replacing since they’re a little scratched. The main reason for this post is because I’ve been having trouble getting the corners of my screens clean and also cleaning out the dust between the bottom screen and the hinges even with a very fine brush. Any experts got tips ? I’ve tried the basic stuff I.e. microfiber cloth and watered down ethanol/propanol however I’ve only gotten so far.
