I just got this Japanese New 3ds today and at first it turned on to the picture of the screen with text. Then I hit the third option, "Show NAND or…", and it went to the normal 3ds menu. Everything seemed normal so I turned it off and put it back on the charger. Then when I went to go test if it read games it wouldn't turn on for me now. I've tired hitting L+R+UP d-pad+ A and power multiple times. It worked once out of 20 times, but I couldn't select another option on that text screen. The 3ds does not have a micro SD in it. Any advice on how to fix this? I'm assuming this is a soft bricked issue. Any help would be appreciated.
