My favourite controller. I love the feel & the weight but damn, those rubber grips

Love it! Only downside is that the battery runs out pretty fast

Not worth the price due to a few reasons:
1) battery life
2) the F*cking soft plastic quality of the grips and the not being able to change these easily.
3) No Hall effect joystick / or official first party replacement with hall effect for them.
4) the price is too high
I own one because I like the back buttons, I like the extra control it comes with. And I like the grip and feel of it.
I had some money to spare and didn’t care for the price.
But quality wise it’s an awful product and the alternatives are way better.

Still love it.
Replaced the rubber sponge material that was coming off with aftermarket and works great.

Great controller, I use it when I play FPS games specifically and it hasn’t let me down. It won’t make you a better player but it’ll help you out.

Honestly, I enjoy using the back paddles for a few games, but do find the weight and short battery life a little disappointing. I also realize how nice the original PS5 controller is.

easily the best controller I’ve ever had, but it’s too expensive for what it is. I mainly got it for the back pedals, and to this day that’s the only reason I use it. I don’t use it for competitive games (since I don’t play them), and I don’t really need its other features. For anything with a third-person camera, I can’t go back to a normal controller

Battery is the worst thing about this device. Also, the grips tend to peel off after time.

It’s such a different controller from stock. That you can easily pick it up blindfolded. Nothing wrong with the feel of a normal controller. Just feels like it’s not serious. Like a toy. The edge controller feels like it’s ready to land a platinum trophy.

Absolute insanity that it didn’t come with 4 back buttons at the minimum

I hate the battery. I would rather it was like the Xbox with replaceable batteries or battery packs. I have a Series X and bought a rechargeable battery pack at launch and that lasted me until this year when they needed replacing.
I got new battery packs and the controller lasts a week or longer with pretty frequent use. I’m lucky if I get more than 6 hours out of my PS controllers these days. I have two that I alternate between and I pretty much have to keep one on charge and usually have to swap every day.

Love it!! Just hate the stick drift but that’s after years of ownership. Stick modules were easy to replace thankfully

I don’t have any regrets outside of the battery one. Usually play with it connected to a USB hub but I can see where it can be a pain in the ass for some.
Been thinking about replacing the internal battery one with one that can be ordered from AE.

Everything about it is great except for the battery and those GOD DAMNED RUBBER GRIPS

Love mine. I set up the paddles to common d-pad buttons I need to push more often than not for whatever game I’m playing.
I turn off adaptive triggers regardless of the game I’m playing and set vibration to low.
Battery isn’t as long as standard DS but I haven’t run out if battery during a gaming session yet and my longest has been 6 hours non stop. Most days ill play for an hour or two here and there

Great for shooters and racing games where I use the back paddles as shift levers.
Price is still damn high and joystick calibration should be available for regular DualSense too.

After switching from Xbox controller, the ps5 controller feels superior for me

Awful Controller.
My DualSense Edge has formed bubbles under the rubber coating of the grips 3 times. I have to send my controller for the 4th time to the Playstation repair service.
I really hate the DualSense Edge and regret the purchase

The rubber backside is a horrible idea. Rest is great.

I don’t have it but I think the replaceable sticks are a good feature. I always hear shit about the battery which makes sense
