I launched an open beta for my solo PvE extraction shooter (DAMEX) 2 weeks ago. Here are the raw numbers:
    – 166 free licenses claimed
    – 19 unique players
    – 2 feedback received 😅
I posted on Reddit, I added an in-game feedback form directly… and got almost nothing.
So I'm genuinely asking — is an open beta even a good strategy to collect feedback? Or are players just not wired to give it?
Would love to hear from other devs (or players!) who've been through this.

    1. I don’t mean this to be rude but the game does not look visually or conceptually appealing and that will greatly hamper getting any players at all. It’s also not obvious that it’s even an open beta when there’s a request access button as some people will assume they won’t even get in.
