I can get it if some delisted games lose their points shop, but this is a game that just came out a few months back or so, still available on Steam with trading card support, but the points shop is just empty. Usually serves well when there's an item that I want to get, but don't want to try my chance at getting through crafting badges or buying it at some silly premium on the community market.
I asked Steam Support if this was some sort of developer toggle or an actual bug, and they just told me repeatedly that the points shop is empty before closing the ticket, shrug. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this with other games that are still available on the storefront, and if there's an actual explanation for it.

the support is correct. The shop is empty, why? because all games technically have a point shop page, but putting stuff on the point shop is optional and up the devs, so if the devs decided they don’t want to put anything in the point shop, it will be empty.
rewards from badges and point shop items are completely seperate things, most devs just choose (for logical reasons ofc) to also put their badge rewards on the point shop.
