Here is a screenshot from the unreleased PlayStation port of Killing Time, the horror FPS that originally gained a following on 3DO. It had a memorable mix of haunted-house horror, live-action ghosts, and surreal mid-1990s design that helped it stand apart from other shooters of the era.

The PS1 version was set to be published by Acclaim under the LJN label, but it never reached release. That makes surviving material like this especially interesting, since it offers a glimpse at a game that might have found a much larger audience on PlayStation than it ever did on 3DO.

Some of the imagery is wonderfully bizarre too, including a section with ducks and duck hunters that feels completely in step with the game’s strange horror energy.

I also uploaded a short reel showing the footage here if anyone wants to see more: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVmgzDSkafw/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
