Epic Games just annouced today that they are decreasing the amount of V-Bucks you get with each purchase. Alongside that, they are reducing the amount of V-Bucks earned per battlepass by 700, and a loss of 200 every month of Fortnite crew.
This heavily reduces the value of the incentive and in turn makes Gamepass Ultimate less valuable given Xbox's decision to add it in the first place with the price increases.

If you are ONLY buying game pass for Fortnite sure? You also get EA Play, Ubisoft thing, and other F2P bonuses…

There never was any value. If you’re somebody who plays a lot of fortnite, you’re not also playing the number of other games per month you’d need to pay for gamepass to make any sense

I think because Epic increased the price for V-Bucks, not because of Xbox
I wonder if this has something to do with them having plans to maybe add other subscriptions to Game Pass, like Fallout 1st for 76.
the price increase mainly covers the 50% extra day one games (75 minimum vs 50), and ubisoft+ classics.
Fortnite crew is more of an added bonus than a driving force of the price increase,

Fortnite changed the pricing. You pay the same dollar amount but only get 800 instead of 1000 bucks. So the crew option changed too, and the game pass reward changed along with it.

I “downgraded” to Premium and haven’t missed anything.
I don’t use the fortnite bit at all it’s wasted on a lot of players I know it’s helpful for some and that’s good but having it forced on you when you don’t use it is crap 🙄

The Game Pass value lost here is ~$2.05 USD. The fact that epic has removed in-game rewards (v-bucks in the bonus section of the battle pass) has nothing to do with Game Pass. They’re reducing the amount given via crew by 200 (which again, is ~$2.05 USD) and that is assuming you even play fortnite and find value in the crew pass to begin with. If you don’t play fortnite – you’d never even know.
