I was thinking of buying a new acrylic protective case for my old 3DS and buying a sticker to put on the inside of the case. Has anyone done this before? Did it work well?

I'm not really keen on disassembling my old 3DS to swap the casings; it would be too much work, and this format I want to use would give me more room for other customizations.
