Сapcom has officially confirmed that a story DLC is coming to Resident Evil Requiem. In a recent community message, the director of the game, Koshi Nakanishi, revealed that the development team is already working on additional story content that will expand the world of the game.
Resident Evil Requiem has already sold around five million copies shortly after launch, making it one of the fastest-selling entries in the entire Resident Evil franchise. Alongside the DLC announcement, Capcom also confirmed that a Photo Mode and a new gameplay update are coming soon.
At the same time, new speculation is spreading across the community. Fans noticed an image connected to the project featuring Leon S. Kennedy standing next to a mysterious woman. This sparked discussion online about whether the upcoming story expansion could focus on Leon’s unexplored timeline within the series.
Some insider discussions from Dusk Golem also suggested that the expansion might have been planned long before the game released, which could mean the DLC is already further in development than many players expect.
