The White House has shared a video on its official X account depicting military action using Nintendo Wii UX and Wii Sports. I believe I’m not in the wrong to say that most of us strongly oppose such infamous use of the beloved system and franchise, special to us in different ways. I truly find it difficult to put into words how abhorrent the whole thing is and as a customer sent Nintendo my humble opinion on the matter. If there are people more like me out there, I know it’s such a small thing in the grand scheme of things, but feeling powerless all the time sucks. In our games at least we can (almost) always get a happy ending.

    1. Man, first using Pokopia for propaganda, than Yu-Gi-Oh clips using Dan Green’s voice, and now Wii Sports? The manbaby isn’t even trying to hide just how spiteful and craven he is. Is nothing sacred to him?

Just know, Nintendo didn’t do this. Nintendo is unfortunately a victim of this twice in like a week. Last time it was the Pokopia thing, now it’s Wii Sports.

I think that’s part of the reason Nintendo chose to sue before, even though the lawsuit had nothing to do with it.

At this point, this is blatant public infringement on Nintendo’s IPs and can very well hurt the brand’s image.

I don’t know what Nintendo plans to do, if anything at all, but I hope Nintendo stands up for itself and its consumers.

    3. They’re doing this on purpose. They know it pisses people off and think they are being trolls. They want a fight with Nintendo for the attention it will give them and to say ‘see, Nintendo is a bunch of woke liberals!’

That’s kind of the problem with being the ‘most powerful country on Earth’ is that if that country suddenly decides to be a giant twat for no reason, there’s not much anyone can do to stop them.
