Beware this eBay seller!!! $1k+ 3DS XL with capture card, months of silence after return. I bought a console from them and upon testing, the capture card (main reason for purchase) would not initialize in any software. Contacted seller for help.
Seller's response: Walked me through troubleshooting. When that failed, seller said: "I'll have you send it back to me to fix. I'll replace the capture board and include a Raspberry Pi with the viewer software. No extra charge."
Late December 2025: Shipped console back to seller via USPS. Tracking confirmed delivery to seller.
January 1, 2026: Seller confirmed receipt: "I have the console. I'm working on improving it… Hope to have it ready and shipped out early next week."
January 23, 2026: Last communication from seller: "I'm gonna try to get it out on Saturday. I reduced the noise via Bluetooth. I couldn't set up the Raspberry Pi so I'll include a bluetooth adapter instead." Seller confirmed address was still correct.
January 23 – March 2026: No further communication despite multiple follow-up messages.
March 3, 2026: Final follow-up sent: "Hi, I hope everything is okay… I would appreciate greatly communication so I know what's going on with my console."
Present: No response. Seller has possession of console. No refund. No item.
I have also found someone on YouTube comments who is having a similar issue with the same seller. Doesn't help their case, as it seems like this is typical behavior for the seller.
