Essential is a great deal, gets you games every month. (2-4 games) This month its Monster hunter rise and some other.
Extra is a great deal has lots of games on there for you (500+?)
Deluxe is a great deal if you have a ps Portal, so now you can stream lots of games directly on there.

I think the tier you get depends on how much time you have. I’m a working parent and Essential is perfect for me.

If money isn’t an issue and you like to have retro games (although they come out slowly) go delux but the best bargain out of the 3 if watching your money, then go with extra
If really want to know then try each for 1 month and see which one you prefer more.

I have deluxe but thats cause i have a portal. Without it, extra worked the best since i was able to play cyberpunk, hogwarts legacy, Detroit become human, mortal kombat 1, and spider man miles morales

IMO the top tier or second tier is worth it if you’ve already played the crap out of the games you already own and want to try something new but you don’t know what yet. If you’ve got loads of games that you never play it’s probably not worth it. I honestly think it’s better to buy a game, finish it, then buy another one.

If you want to play most of the games catalogue then extra would be the one to go for

Well, I’m on the “Premium” (which is “Deluxe” in your image) and I absolutely can say, hands down… just get Extra.
The Extra package is absolutely worth it, with the game catalogue and Ubisoft Classics being the best part about it.
The “Deluxe/Premium” is shit. The classics are good, but not worth the extra money. The Sony Pictures catalogue is *shit* it’s not like Netflix, they still want you to pay money to watch stuff on there.
Game Trials are not and never should be a “premium/deluxe” feature and should be available to anyone with an account and an interest in buying a game.

For me essential is enough but I normally play 1 game slowly to platinum (sometimes I cant and its okay).
So I end up several months playing 1 or 2 games at same time maximum.
