I just bought a new Samsung S84F OLED TV. It says that all 4 HDMI ports support 120HZ. And I'm using the HDMI cable that came with the PS5. Why is the output only showing 60HZ? How can I fix it?

I think you need to enable 120 hz output option in the system settings menu.

You may need to go into your TV’s settings to enable it for that specific port. And make sure its also enabled in the PS5 settings.

    3. I need to enable game mode on my new Samsung before it lets me do it. Also make sure you have the VRR setting enabled in the menu right before this screen

120hz only works on games that support it. You can’t turn it on for everything

The PS5 comes with a HDMI 2.1 so that should be fine

Update your TV firmware Samsung might put it on the box but I’ve found that manufacturers don’t keep them up to date out of the box. You might have to enable 120hz in the tv settings too. Cant help with settings pathing but explore the video settings to make sure it is on.

Make sure your video settings on the PS5 are enabled settings > screen and video > video output > 120hz output. If the TV is set up and it still hasn’t enabled you can try and force it here

    6. Also I tried to turn on VRR but I get a message saying my TV doesn’t support it but it does?

There’s a lot of good suggestions so far. I would double check if you actually have a 120 Hz TV as a last ditch effort, especially if you bought it second hand
