I know this is a hot take but… Does anyone else enjoy these games?

Not trying to be controversial, although I know these games aren’t very well-liked – did anyone else out there enjoy playing through these?

I purchased Shining Pearl because I wanted a way to play Pearl again – and that’s exactly what I got. Definitely would have been ideal to get the Platinum updates, but I think I still got the experience I was hungry for. I didn’t have much of an issue with the art style; I think it was aligned with how my younger self imagined the DS games would look with “good graphics”.

I guess the nostalgia points were enough for me, or I’m just not that picky? What are the primary complaints about these games?
