Yikes is this base ps5 ? On the pro the game looks sharp and much cleaner than the ps5 footage. The base footage reminds me of ff7 rebirth

So they went to Silent Hill direction and because they couldn’t actually render the entire environment they covered it in heavy fog?

      Lol

    3. I’m reading performance is ass on both XBSX and PS5. Balance mode seems to be the winner here from what I’ve read.

I noticed this too… after I passed the beginning it seemed fine, or my eyes became adjusted…

Reminds me of the Witcher 3 scenario when it was released in Switch!

    5. I had a blurriness problem in Death Stranding 2 and the culprit was the “120hz mode” in the console settings. Don’t know if it will help but maybe check that out.

U cant be telling me that people saw previews for this game and thought “yeah that’s gonna look great on the base PS5”

It’s a little rough, a patch or two might help it visually and performance.

The game looks quite bad at night

    8. Had same issue. Disabling 120hz in ps settings fixed it. Quality mode now looks closer to trailers. Not a blurry Vaseline mess

Game came out 3 minutes ago, a patch or two will help the game tremendously. Stop crying

I think everyone missed the post from the developer where they said the game would run at 1080p with no upscaling in the performance mode. Not sure what people were expecting

Coming off of Ghost of Yotei Legends, my eyes got used to a level of digital craftsmanship that this game doesn’t seem to have. It does not look next gen to me but maybe my setup needs adjusting? I’m not seeing that blur, but I was anticipating something a little more modern. The textures look similar to RDR2

    12. I heard another guy mention they got a refund on this after playing. So there’s that. If Sony giving refunds it must be BAD

    13. Yeah so I know this won’t help on PlayStation, but I noticed games on my PC that have DLSS enabled automatically will have a lot of blur, especially at distance viewing. I really wish new games didn’t rely on upscaling

You have to get the expansion pack and put it in the Nintendo 64 expansion bay to clear it up. Looks fine on mine running at a crisp 4 FPS
