Thanks to you overhyped people. It’ll be interesting to see the sales in a year.

I struggle to believe this lol, I think I’m a bit jaded because I feel like this game is being oddly shoved in my face everywhere online and yet none of my gamer friends have mentioned it. I understand that’s anecdotal, but still

I want to try this so bad, I’m saving my Reward Points for it, I’m at about £35 so far

How many refunds?🤔

I’m enjoying it. It’s a little janky but a ton of fun and the graphics awesome.

The hate in this thread is wild. Gamers seem to be one of the most miserable groups
Some people liked the game and some people didn’t. That’s okay.

I mean what else is there to play, really

Definitely enjoying it so far. Don’t normally like open world games but the actual map here is impressive

The usual Korean MMO astroturfing. Go look at the Xbox store page and you’ll see a thousand 5-star reviews just saying “I’m so excited to play, can’t wait until Thursday!!”
It’s so clearly fake

Controls are janky and feels like there is slight input delay. Playing on PS5 Pro and LGC1 regardless of mode.
Otherwise, having a blast and plan to play as much as I can this weekend. Playing in-between meetings tonight 😅

It will be a great game after a few weeks of patching and balancing. On launch, I can clearly see the genius here.
I know most will argue it shouldn’t be like this, but I am convinced that these large games can not optimize without feedback from the masses.
This is just the new reality in the gaming industry today.
Crimson Desert needs a lot of work on controls, UI, inventory management and boss balancing.

Issue with this:
– Came for free with many AMD Gpu/cpu purchases
– Everyone who has an Intel graphics card cannot play it and they only told them after the fact. (To drive up their numbers)
– Game has mixed reviews on Steam and I’m sure that comes with a large amount of refunds
Let’s not praise this game at the moment until we get a better idea of what’s going on.

Looks like the games media hate campaign against this game is failing

I just ordered it for tomorrow and I’m looking forward to it. I’m hoping the endless exploration will be enough to mitigate some of the criticisms i’ve seen

I watched it on a live stream for about half an hour and the controls seem janky as hell. The person kept struggling to even just hop from one sky platform to another without falling lol. I’m struggling to see how it’s worth it for the steep launch price.
