There’s no rush on The Elder Scrolls 6, Todd Howard says, because Bethesda has the “benefit of having so many millions of people playing our other games”

    1. I like some Bethesda games, but I don’t like how overconfident Todd Howard is after their last game was Starfield.

Y’all heard him. We have to stop playing all their other games if we want ES6

So you’re telling me if we all just don’t play their games then we get Elder Scrolls 6? I’m in.

    4. Take your time lying Todd….and release a shitty, boring, bug ridden, antiquated and terrible looking game in five years….just like you did on Starfield

Basically saying “Until you stop paying for Skyrim for the 10th time, we have no reason to make a new Elder Scrolls or at very least not in a rush to push out a new Elder Scrolls”

    6. Genuinely curious: what gameplay changes, new features, etc are people hoping/expecting ES6 will deliver?

Idk man Starfield has squashed all hope for me when it comes to new Bethesda games.

No worries, this time they can trim down their art and asset team, do the bare minimum and have DLSS5 magically generate detail out of thin air.

These people have totally mismanaged their own IP. Goes to show that not all studios benefit from being left to their own devices, which also includes some of Sony’s associates. Two decades between games is ridiculous.

If he is referring to Starfield, let me just say that we need the new Elder Scrolls even sooner

Can he and collectively everyone else just stop talking about this game. They have waited an unbelievably stupid amount of time between entries. I’d argue they have damaged the brand irreparably. 15+ years is unacceptable.

I agree. We need modern day Bethesda to take as much time as possible being the talent of the past is clearly long gone

    13. been doing that for a while Todd.

Actually I bought oblivion remake, honestly I would be up for a morrowind remake now. I’m a sucker for elder scrolls. but I won’t buy skyrim for the 4th time.
