It does look like someone’s been plugging in the HDMI without looking (scratches), and possibly bending the plug ever so slightly. But it shouldn’t have any negative impacts.
Secondhand I guess? If not and you paid retail, definitely needs returning.

Are you talking about the split on the bottom-middle of the HDMI connector? If so, then yes that’s normal, mine has it too. Just how the metal is shaped

You mean the one on the bottom of the socket? I don’t think it connects to anything, it’s just to keep it in place. Test HDMI and check if it’s running ok. I wouldn’t worry

The marks around the port look like when someone’s drunk, trying to get into their house, and can’t quite get the housekey in the lock.

No there should be a split, but it does not look wide enough to cause a problem.
