Looking at the physical stash of games I accumulated when I mostly played PS2, PS3 and PS4 makes me regret buying mostly digital on PS5. I have over 250 digital ps5 games but less than 5 physical copies. Anyone else have this feeling of regret going more digital?

Have only a handful of digital games. Over 500 physical going strong. Even if the game isn’t fully on the disc, I like being able to resell it down the line.

I have a good selection of physical games, but the problem is that some of the best games are not available on disc, they’re digital only.
Not for a second. Going digital has been one of the best decisions I’ve made as a gamer. They take up so much space otherwise.
Quite the opposite for me. Hauling around mountains of records, CDs, game carts, game discs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and VHS tapes got real old.
Oh yeah, and a pile of physical hard drives, ADAT tapes, reel-to-reel tapes, and MiniDiscs from my retired recording studio days.
Fuck that shit. I’m nearly all digital now. If I lose some of it, it won’t be much different than what’s happened to me in the past.
Incidentally, I haven’t lost a single phone contact since y2k nor any photos since 2008.
Not really. I like the convenience of digital.
My room has enough stuff as it is
Sometimes digital games are the better option but I never understand anyone going full digital. Just get the disc drive for used games, dvds, whatever, it’s just useful to have that option. You can still download games the disc drive doesn’t block it 😂
