Yes, if you go into settings then storage you can make a new library file on the new drive.

Then, select the games you wish to move and click move

Steam settings – Storage – Select D from the top menu – Check everything – Move to C

    3. You can within steam by going to a game’s properties and moving their install directory individually, or wholly through the Storage entry of the Settings in the dropdown menu.

This can also be done manually, but ifyou have steam installed I’d rather do it within the program

    4. Yes, you can move the Steam library folder to a different disk, such as from C: to D:, without breaking it.

Methods to Move the Steam Library Folder

      Using Steam Settings

Steam now allows you to move your library folder directly from its settings. This is the simplest method and is highly recommended:

      • Open Steam Settings: Go to Steam > Settings > Storage.
      • Select the Library: Click on the drive where your Steam library is currently located.
      • Move Games: Select the games you want to move, then click the “Move” button and choose the new location on Disk D:. “Isn’t lower right big button ‘Move’ just move your files?”

Manual Move and Re-Adding the Library

If the Steam settings method doesn’t work or you prefer a manual approach, you can move the folder and then re-add it to Steam:

      • Close Steam: Ensure Steam is completely shut down.
      • Move the Folder: Cut the Steam library folder from its current location (ex, C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamapps) and paste it to the new location on Disk D: (ex, D:SteamLibrarysteamapps). “Shut Steam down. Cut (not copy) the main Steam folder (Steam). Paste it wherever you want (C:Steam for example). Run steam.exe from there.”
      • Re-Add the Library: Open Steam, go to Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders, and add the new location on Disk D:. “Move folder while Steam is not running. Then start Steam, go into Steam Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders. Select F: and go to the menu on the right and choose remove drive. Now click the + and select ‘Let me choose another location’ from the dropdown and click ‘Add’. Select the folder. It should contain SteamApps. Do not directly select SteamApps or a folder inside of it or it will not work. Your games should immediately switch to installed state.”
