Very proud of what I've built so far. I just upgraded to an OLED Monitor (Gigabyte MO27Q28G) and it has been the best upgrade I've made so far. I have also just recently upgraded my motherboard from b760m to Z790, and with that went from 16GB DDR4 to 32GB DDR5. I am still running my 6800XT.. I was planning to upgrade to a 9070XT, but now with the OLED I find games look so good and I am still getting solid FPS, that I would only be upgrading for better ray tracing, and for the sake of upgrading, so I have decided to let my 6800XT carry me a while longer. I also just yesterday went with bare minimum RGB (only coming from my GPU and Keyboard) because I upgraded the fans that came with my case and some Thermalright case fans – to Noctua NF-P12 Redux fans, and that has been a pretty significant QOL upgrade because they are basically completely silent vs the original case fans that came with my case, which sounded like an airplane taking off.
The biggest highlights of my setup I think are the Audio/Visual Peripherals. I just upgraded to OLED as already mentioned, and it is sandwiched by a pair of KRK VXT6 monitors (scored on marketplace for $100 CAD) which are sitting on acoustic pads and being fed a clean audio signal from my M Audio Interface and XLR cables. The one issue with this setup is that the monitors are so large that I have no space for anything else beside them without buying a larger desk lol. So I have thought about getting some shelving.
I just moved into this house 3 months ago, so I find aesthetically, the studio monitors are doing all the heavy lifting. I need to add shelves for books and figures or posters or maybe like white or grass wall paneling or SOMETHING.
Let me know what you think of my setup and build so far! And let me know what you would do to improve the vibes.
