      Absolutely love the map but Cryo buy-in is a bit unbalanced. WSTR shotgun is 2.5k but a Bully SMG is on 500cr making it almost mandatory to run a WSTR every time.

      After playing Cryo this weekend, I get why they’re apprehensive about it being available 24/7. The loot there blows the rest of the maps out of the water. Anyone decent at the game would have no reason to queue for other maps outside of quest requirements.

      Reducing loot quality would work, but if it’s just gonna be as profitable as Outpost, there’d be no real reason to go outside of filling out your codex (which is a big driver for me, at least).

      They haven’t mentioned it, but if they want to limit the impact on the loot economy caused by a constantly open Cryo, I think they should just turn the Trace count modifier on gear from Cryo down. For those unfamiliar, all gear has a Trace count. It starts at 5, and each time the item is looted off someone it decreases by 1, and when it hits 0 the item is converted to credits when looted. Reducing the Trace count of gear sourced from Cryo seems like a good way to reign in Cryo, at least from my non-developer armchair.
