    1. WhiteRaven-17 on

They are only 2 million sales away from their fiscal year goals, and the Switch 2 is still the fastest selling console of all time.

And now people are pretending like everyone and their mom wasn’t making memes about not being able to play Pokopia cause they didn’t have the console and that the system has no “True system sellers” again.

Times are tough, the console is wildly, stupidly successful. These aren’t mutually exclusive.

    2. Component prices are crazy right and supply is constrained now so makes sense. Hardware production is done on fixed contracts for a certain number of units, so they may be facing increased costs for the next contract

    3. No they’re not, this is based on the Bloomberg article by the author who has been consistently making shit up to the point that he got public disagreements from companies based on his speculative bullshit.

Unless your Switch 1 Pro pre-order ever arrived, do **not** trust this author.

And as expected, sites keep re-citing this garbage made-up bullshit, and redditors keep spamming the links to them around. As if we shouldn’t all long know the guy is entirely full of shit every time he talks about any console, no matter by whom.

    4. Yeah lots of people are broke and we’re waiting on Mario, new Zelda, Splatoon Raiders, FE, xenoblade etc. Full fledged “next gen” Nintendo experiences.

Or try to resurrect old franchises. Get the Splatoon team to work on a Wave Race game for summer, and a 1080 for winter and maybe price them a bit lower. I know people still complain about the prices and I get it. So make shorter single player games at 10-20 dollars lower.
