I don’t think that’s it’s lower priced tiers that most people want.
I think that most people want Ultimate (the only console tier with day one releases) to be cheaper.

You could say this about nearly anything with regards to Xbox given Asha is a new CEO and is running through the business with a fine toothed comb, trying to understand why decisions were made, the situation around them, the outcome, etc.

She could become more popular than Phil Spencer ever was with that 1 move though.

My Gamepass runs out in May. I won’t resubscribe if the prices stay the same and I don’t care about anything but Ultimate (if I can’t have games on day 1, I might as well buy them for my PS5).
If they don’t lower the prices by then, I’ll just sell my Xbox. And believe me, I’d rather sell my PS5 and keep my Xbox.
