Today is 15 years since the 3DS released in the UK.
The first image is the first photo I took with my 3DS shortly after picking it up at a midnight launch.
The second image is one I took today on my way home from work at the exact same spot.

3DS appreciation comment: in 2011 was in college and had fallen out of love with gaming. A friend of mine sold me a DS Lite for $20 – I had been using the original DS phat in my childhood so this was fun to just HOLD. Fast forward two weeks and I’m told I can get a 3DS for $100 if I trade in my DS lite. I did it in a heartbeat, and have been in love with the 3DS since then. I dare say it is my favorite console of all time.
