or do what i do as a parent, straight up not allow their kids to play. I have only heard horror stories about how predatory the pedos are on it. fuck roblox.

If you have to monitor the child every moment they use something, they shouldn’t be using it. This applies to games, toys….everything.

Parents shouldn’t be letting their kids on Roblox whatsoever, says me.

My kid will eventually want to game. She can play single player games and or local co-op games.
Why are kids logging into online games

Too bad most parents use it as a replacement for monitoring their children.

My 10 year old is not allowed to touch that game. Never was allowed to. And with the newer news about their dumb AF CEO. It will remain that way. Game is a children’s casino. Full of pedos and weirdos.

My niece is currently into Roblox and she’s started to rope me into playing with her (I’ve spent more time as a blocky version of the ladies from Wicked than I’d like to get into). Her parents have all the parental controls turned on. No one can DM her or send her invites, she can’t see the chat, etc. And after playing with her for five minutes the first time I turned all of that stuff off on my end because holy shit it’s obnoxious.
Anyway, if parents actually take the time to look at the controls that are in place, the kid’ll be fine. And if parents actually play *with them*, they might actually have fun together. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a dumb game, but she has fun and I have fun playing with her, so fuck it. I’ll play some dumb obby levels with her.

My son has used it for years, it’s great. Tons of unique mini games and the such.
I watch over him while he plays it and check in often and not a single thing has come up with someone inviting him or messaging him or anything like that.
But look at all these comments.

I keep hearing this and I don’t know where it comes from. Just don’t allow them to message. My kid plays it here and there. There’s no concerns. Plays it with friends and voice chats over the phone
This shit isn’t hard

I’ve spoken to detectives that are part of ICAC task forces. Roblox is responsible for more child grooming than any other platform since Omegle. And Omegle was shut down for child endangerment.

I don’t think children should be playing 24/7 😅
