Not sure if this is the right sub to ask about this but my PS5 won’t turn on normally. It just keeps showing this screen and I’m worried about losing my game data. Does anyone know of a way to fix this without erasing all of the data off my M.2 SSD?

I THINK the game data is stored on the system…. You have to reformat and redownload the games. I’ll check on the save data for you.
Edit: my save data is on the system itself, not the SSD. So just format it and redownload your stuff.
It won’t remove the save data only the game data on the SSD.
Have you removed it at all? You might be able to double check first and foremost if any save data is backed up to the cloud.
I believe save data is stored on the console SSD.
Remove it, double check (ensure its got heatsink) and if you’re happy. Insert it again and wipe it.
You’ll have to redownload the games but that’s it
