I've had issues with the HDMI cable getting bumped or yanked when the console is vertical. This leads to the port getting bent, broken, or becoming loose where the cable easily slips out.
So I created a 3D print file that clips onto the back vent holes to help cradle the HDMI cable so it won't wobble or further damage the port.
Not for sale, not bragging, or promoting myself. Just hope this helps anyone else having issues with a loose HDMI port.

Maybe it might also be time for an HDMI port replacement, from the photo it’s looking a but loose
i wonder if these issues could be solved by using the cable you get in the box.
looks useful for sure, but for me personally i’ve never had an issue since getting my series x at launch. and yes i’ve moved the console around quite a bit, different rooms, different orientations etc.
Not sure why this necessary but ingenious nonetheless.
