Currently have a base PS5, bought a Pro yesterday I will pick up tomorrow since I was debating the upgrade anyways and am not going to pay even more after the hike. I originally had my PS5 standing vertically in my entertainment center but just spent some time rearranging it/prepping the space for the Pro. I now have the PS5 horizontal cause I like the look better but am now questioning airflow.

I got plenty of open space to the right(top) before the solid wall of the stand and it’s an open back. My only concern is I also have the PS5 controller charger next to the console as well as my Apple TV.

The PS5 exhaust out the top out the top correct? Am I right to be concerned about the hot air coming out of there with my other stuff next to it? Should I just go back to vertical when I grab my pro?

Other side of my cabinet I had it vertical in:
