this is the first time in my life (36) I've ever cared about what my controllers look like I saw the cipher red controller after I had the gold one for awhile and had to buy it then I saw these stick covers and was like ok it makes sense and looks clean I think anyway. anyone else have something sweet on the stuff only you really get to see/enjoy. let's see it if you do.

If I’m in the market for a new controller and they have a cool design for the same price as a standard controller I’ll get it for sure but I don’t think I’d ever pay extra.

Not really, I thought the blue controller I bought looked nice. But I don’t look at the controller while playing so it doesn’t really matter.
I wish I could tell you. I go through a controller probably once every 4 months. Kids drop them consistently. I just get a different color every time

I want my controllers to look cool but most importantly they need to have back paddles. I’ll take a blank controller with paddles over a cool design any day.
I never used to. Sure, I’d want a specific colour for the N64, but I didn’t care too much at the end of the day. I used to always think that it didn’t matter at all because they were all the same.
However, after losing a close family member and dealing with depression and developing a spending addiction, I started to collect controllers and started to care more. However, because I’m obsessive compulsive, I don’t like to use the really good ones and just keep using the same one anyway.
But I’ve tried to use some of the special edition ones lately. I ended up with two of the doom and Starfield ones so I have been using those.
But I recently stopped collecting controllers whatsoever because it’s just a waste of money. The last one I bought was Doom.
Nope! My dog chewed my Xbox 360 controller many years and its missing half a joystick pad, teeth marks everywhere but its never failed. Its the longest lasting controller of all my consoles.
Controllers are usually placed in a pretty prominent position, so if you’re aesthetically inclined, it makes sense. You can hide the box, but you can’t really hide the controller. Same reason people bling out their phones.
