It’s one of those games I play a couple matches in , then I get bored and move onto something else. Just using it to scratch the fps shooter itch.

ign is paid off by aaa companies to keep the status quo or they get something that isn’t direct compensation to hide it.

Im a dad with a full time job.
I love marathon.
I also loved Arc Raiders, Ghosts of Tabor, escape from Tarkov, Contractors Exfilzone, etc.
But my current plans are to continue playing Marathon

The hate campaign for this game is crazy. It is extremely well made and a ton of fun. I am completely hooked on it. It’s a very tough game and you’ll die a lot but they are very generous with the quests in game being able to be completed even if you die. I’m always progressing something even on bad runs. It’s admittedly my first extraction shooter but I totally see why these games can be popular. Also, as the reviews are showing, anyone who sticks with it more than the first couple hours are coming back with great things to say. One of the best online shooters I’ve played in a very long time.
But fine, let’s obsess over player counts and actively root for it to fail for some reason.
