    I wanna get this 3ds, but I’m scared after learning about ‘region locked’



    If I order this from Amazon can I use english/american games with it? I'm so confused and have no idea what Im doing, because I've only had a Wii and a switch before 😭 if anyone can help me and instruct me into buying a day I can actually get games for, I would be very appreciative. Thank you! 💛💛

      I’m not sure, but I will say that if you mod it, the region lock will be removed.

      well im not sure, but from all the search i done until now and it says that even if its region locked, if you gonna mod it, it removes that limitation, but again, i didnt tried yet (still wanting to buy one, searching for the best price/quality)

      I’d personally suggest NOT buying from Amazon, unless you have a gift card or something.

      287 is a VERY high price for a used ‘good’ conditioned n3DS.

      You can easily get one in better condition for $200 or so on eBay.

      For $287, you could get a near mint condition unit with box.

      You know that Nintendo isn’t selling that, right? It’s being sold by a third party.

      If you follow the 3ds hacks guide, you can remove the region lock very easily

      Just jailbreak it and then you can region swap it, that’s what I did with my 3DS LL as that’s a Japanese one. Jailbroke it and was able to change it into English.
