Seeing the Series X at $649 makes me glad I bought my consoles years ago. Got one at launch for $499 and a second one for my son in 2023 when it dropped to the same price as the Series S. Crazy times.

Do you know people how crazy that is? It was unheard of before this generation. Consoles always dropped in price over time.

Did you ever pay more for an older TV model years after it was released?
How are people willing to accept this with PS5 and Xbox z series?

Yeah with the benefit of hindsight, I’m glad my Xbox One started having some slight problems back in 2024, which made me pull the trigger on my Series X. I was originally gonna get mine last year until that point, and thank god I dodged that bullet.

I bought mine 2 yrs ago for a vasectomy present. 0 regrets. Was gonna buy another to replace my one s, but I’ll probably just wait until project Helix releases.

Yeah I got my all digital Series X on Black Friday in 2024 when it was like $325 or something, really glad I did it as I was upgrading from my Series S launch model.
My entire Xbox collection at that point had already been digital, so I didn’t really have the need to add the disc drive.
