Just bought this 2011 model from a local game store today. It has an itty bitty black speck here in the center of the circle on the top screen that won't wipe away with a microfiber cloth. It's extremely small, barely noticable unless you're looking incredibly close at the screen.

Dirt most likely, 3ds pixels aren’t exactly small so you’d be able to tell if one died on you
