Has anyone ever had gifts “stolen” out of your inventory? I had 2 games in my inventory from when that was possible, that was somehow gifted to a random level 0 account today.

That sounds like someone else got access to your account. Gifts are not just randomly “stolen” or given to other people.
better make sure your account is secure.

Change your password, enable 2fa and check recent log ins and devices. Also contact support they might get them back.

Did you also change your password on your email/add 2fa to that? The only other explanation would be a virus or Steam employee.

Happened to me too. Luckily my card company stopped it

Sounds kinda like when people say “my account got hacked”… when really someone guessed their password and simply logged in.
Do you have multi-factor / authenticator login enabled? You can’t access a steam account on a new system with a simple user/pass if you have these enabled.

I know you say no one could have your password.
Any chance you were logged in somewhere and left yourself logged in on a friend’s machine, or worse, in a public place? That would not require the password or 2FA if you were just still logged in somewhere, even if it was through a browser and not the Steam client itself.
