**Rhys Elliott, head of market analysis at Alinea Analytics, says:**

      > Open world action adventure has made **$200 million across platforms** (PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S) so far. Somewhat surprisingly, Elliott believes **$75 million of that has has come from PS5 alone.** The overall verdict is that the huge sales success proves “there is a massive appetite for high-fidelity, single-player-focused sandboxes.”

Cannot understand the hate in the comments! The game is absolutely amazing, it’s the fantasy world gamers have been dreaming of for years!

They’re moving quick with patches and listening to fan feedback. Now with the updated performance, inventory space, and stamina buff, its pretty great if you can ignore the story

And its also made in Asia so probably didn’t cost as much as it would cost in west. They probably in profit.

    5. I can’t wait to get this game. I’m absolutely bought into the hype at this point

Alinea Analytics is the source, so I would ignore it until better sources comes.

As a picky gamer, I’m having a fucking blast with this game. The freedom of exploration is top tier and I actually hope that other studios take the good things from CD that people have been loving. By no means is the game perfect, but it’s fun and engaging and I’m more than happy with that

    8. The Alinea scourge strikes again. They’re modern day vgchartz, they don’t know anything.

Man, this game had a huge turnaround for me (and I guess a lot of people). I honestly almost hated it at first. The first 3 to 4 hours were a brutal test of my patience yet now I am genuinely hooked on the game. It’s kind of impressive how dense it is, without feeling like it’s compromising too much. It’s trying to be RDR2 and while imo, it doesn’t come close to reaching its levels, they actually tried.

Idk, I had severe buyers remorse when I first played this game but I am kind of obsessed right now. Just so many small moments like the act of cutting down a tree or pulling off a unique string of attacks in combat. While I’m not a big score guy, this game went from a 4/10 to a really strong 7/10, like those PS3 games that I had fond memories of.

I just wish the story wasn’t so… bleh. Could’ve elevated it significantly but if the game maintains its momentum, I can forgive it. I could be way off but I think time will be generous to this game.

It’s the current game that I’m obsessed over and excited to get off work to play while hitting a joint. The weekend can’t come soon enough 😩

    11. If IGN hates it then it’s a must buy for me. I am just waiting for some more patches and updates one of my best friends says it’s getting better and better every patch
