WWE 2K26’s Ringside Pass Is Fixed

After facing immense amounts of backlash which lead to a declining playerbase and dwindling sales for the first month of WWE 2K26, 2K has backtracked with the Ringside Pass. What used to be a grind that would take hundreds of matches per season to complete, has now been massively improved. Players in the game and have been granted 20 free tier skips each for both seasons 1 and 2, alongside a promise that the 4 DLC superstars will now be available at tier 1 in all future seasons of the Ringside Pass. The remaining 39 tiers now will focus on content that is an additional bonus on top of the prior DLC system, not locking superstars but other extra goodies behind the grind. 2K has also made it easier to level up in the pass, with it going from 8 matches per level at launch, to only 4-5 now. While still not perfect, this is a reasonable compromise that has fixed many fans complaints about WWE 2K26.
