I need to play the game again as I barely played the beginning.

    1. It didn’t hold up at the time. A lazy sequel that reused maps. It was such a disappointment.

Meh. Disappointing considering it took 6 years and is built on the same engine taking place in the same location. The “dungeons” or whatever are even more simplified than they were previously, uninspired repetitive shrines, half baked building mechanics.

Given how long it took them to make the game, I thought it was going to be another Ocarina of Time to Majoras Mask situation(which happened in less than 2 years), where we got a mind blowing game.

It’s the only mainline Zelda game I was ever disappointed in. It feels like an overpriced DLC that took way too long.

    3. It doesn’t hit quite like the first and I really don’t have the desire to replay as much as I do for the first still. But I do find myself missing some of the mechanics when I play BotW now (like ascend or merge)

Its a better game than BOTW. But if you’ve played every inch that was offered in the first game, there aren’t enough new things going on to justify the time for it.

Huge step down from BotW, and many consider it just an overall disappointment. I really only liked the music.

I think the fact that it serves as a significant base for crimson desert makes it somewhat influential, along with elden ring, but it’s not even hard to say that crimson desert seems way more expansive of a game, while totk feels more like hyrule pt 2 with zonai being the ‘showcase’ of the game, instead of having whole new immersive areas which actually make you use zonai devices and in that way would leave an impact on you

    7. If you’re a zelda fan it’s a good game but as a RPG it’s pretty average and forgettable.
