It doesn't have to be a game you absolutely loved and enjoyed. Part of the reason TLOU P2 is that game for me and not P1 is because I have very conflicting and complicated feelings tied to the experience of playing it. It wasn't as simple as P1 emotionally to live through P2.

MGS3 cemented the series as my favorite video game series. The story was incredible and the gameplay was so fun. Plus it had a lot of extras, especially in the special edition of the game.
Definitely not this trash. I would go with god of war 2018 and when Kratos found blades of chaos, alongside the ending of the game which foreshadowed his death
Although Ragnarok made that into a joke and rushed the entire story which should have been a trilogy.
God of war games. Unfortunately santa monica lost the plot and the next continuation game is coming in 2040
Days Gone, definitely
Uncharted 2
Returnal.

Uncharted 3
MGS on the original PlayStation. MGS3 and Shadow of the Colossus on PS2. God of War 2018 on PS4. Those are the first ones that come to mind
The last of us part one
Days gone. Released 2nd semester of freshmen year of HS for me. It was perfect for me. Huge zombie fan, gear head, texan who loved country rural settings. Days gone was the first game that truly left me wanting more. I craved the next mission and story info. I loved all the characters, and progressing with my bike. I got lost in that world. Great game. Shows its age nowadays but still a must play for PlayStation gamers.
Horizon Zero Dawn
