I used this the morning AFTER activating the deal. it was never applied and I submitted a complaint with cashapp. it appears instead of refunding $50 they decided to just charge back. my account is gone now.

Well that’s just awful, that’s a good heads up! Can’t you just contact Sony to pay the debt that’s owed to reinstate your account?

Contact Sony support about it. Try on the chat and phone.
I’m sure Sony would also be just as upset with CashApp as we are, if they found out they’re losing paying customers because of them.

Yea sadly people started abusing this really quickly on multiple accounts so cashapp had to shut it down. I used mine as soon as I seen it as I knew it wasnt going to be around for long if it all.
Don’t do charge backs
Yeah I was pissed about this, I redeemed it and didn’t use it yet. Was going to preorder Starfield with it then realized the promo didn’t even show anymore. Glad I researched it and found out they pulled the promo before I pulled the trigger
