    Starfield Launch Megathread | April 7th 2026



    Hi everyone 👋

    This is the place for discussions on the Starfield launch for PS5:

    We will be hosting more megathreads in 2026 for significant releases as they hit the calendar. The launch comes alongside the sizeable Lanes update, and Bethesda have made a fair bit of effort on PS5 localisation with platform specific features you can read about here.

      I’m definitely enjoying it so far but man prepare for all the negative people that are going to probably show up and trash the game because they have nothing better to do

      Hope everyone enjoys it! I got a fun 300 hours out of it last year and was so glad I finally gave it a go.

      Hope everyone enjoys it! I played through this on Xbox GamePass when it came out and loved it, but since then I’ve largely switched to PS5. Bought it again to play the new content.

      Its a good game. Mods make it alot better tho. Clocked over 700 hours on PC. So that should tell you something.

      I really enjoyed my playthrough. Gunning down enemies in zero G is sweet! Hope a lot of newcomers enjoy the game as much as I did 🙂

      So far I’m enjoying the game very much. Beautiful, stark. I’m a fan of the Dualsense implementation. Looking forward to many hours spaced out.

      I think i may have hit a glitch that keeps locking my game. After dealing with the first mission, after doing the space tutorial. I am going around scanning wild life and fauna, and my game locks up. It’s happened 3 times already, but i some how also suspect it’s internet related. My internet went out around 5 hours ago, which is around the first game lock. I shut it down, went to play MLB The Show in Franchise, and then got a notification on my PS5 saying that in 15 mins the game would close due to the inability to verify licenses. I’m assuming that same notification might be causing the lock, but i won’t know until the internet access in restored.

      Seems like the kind of chill game I’d enjoy playing in the evening while listening to something. I can keep my eye on it
