i recently bought my base ps5 back in 2023 or so never had any major issues but couple days ago i started to notice my screen flickers whenever i turn it on when it first started it only flicker for couple min then disappeared but now it’s flickering all day i tried changing hdmi port to hdmi 2 but no luck even tried changing resolution vrr etc called a shop and said it could be the base ps5 hdmi port damage from overheating but wanted to get input before i make any decision

Did you test it on another TV or Monitor?
HDMI cable could be fucked, do like other guy says try a different tv/monitor. If still flickering, take it out back and ol’ yeller that son bitch cuz it’s fucked

U sure is the ps5 ? Have you tried another monitor or changing the hdmi cable ?

Adjust resolution settings via safe mode.
Go into settings, then display settings
Look for the adjust timing option near the bottom of the list and set it to -2
If that fixes it, try -1 and see if it returns, if not stick with -1
