guys i found out that i have ps2 in my basement so when i tried to start it the controllers didn't work idk whether the proplem in the cotrollers itself or the controllers' socket in the ps2 but i didn't find any discs or games on it so how can i find games and what should i do with the cotrollers or are there anything i can do

Congratulations!
Be sure to look up on YouTube basic maintenance so it doesn’t crash out. Thermal plaster and a blow out of dust, etc.
It may take a bit of time (like max an afternoon), but long-term fun value will be worth it!
Games you can find in any secondhand shop, Facebook marketplace, eBay, etc.
Same with controllers, but may be a little tricky (EDIT: tricky to find an original.) Have you got a modern wireless PlayStation and controller?
