Took a gamble on an auction and lost.

I took a gamble buying these two 3ds's from a auction site ( only going off one picture of each )and didn't come out as good as I'd hope.

The red 3ds actually surprised me , the picture of it didn't look great, but it's in good condition, everything works, the shell is in good shape, and the screens are in decent shape, and ended up paying only $73 for it.

The n3ds looked great in the photo. But picking it up, the bottom screen is heavily scratched, and has the worst yellowing I've seen. The top screen has this weird rust colored residue behind the lens, the shell is a little more scuffed but at least everything works. This one I paid more than I probably should have going off one picture

I probably paid too much for them. Im trying to decide if I should just take the L on the n3ds, or gamble and see if I can remove the top lens and clean whatever it is under it and replace with a new glass lens, and maybe replace the bottom screen as well. Everything works, it's just not the prettiest one around.

I've been pretty lucky buying these lately, so it's about time my luck ran out.
