I have made an experiment on Nintendo 3DS that can answer my question from previous post ,,Can I polish out the scratches from the glossy part of the original Nintendo 3DS?".
The answer is yes, to a certain level. From my observations it looks like you can completely polish out shallow micro scratches, but the deeper ones are much less noticeable. Also the overall surface has much more vibrant color and is less faded. I have covered with tape the middle part of the console, so you can see the difference. I have used PolyWatch Plastic for polishing, you can also use PlastX.
