I always wear a head scarf thingy that fully covers my hair when I play, and I have ever since I got my psvr back in 2016, to try and combat skin oil and stuff from getting into the VR headband and making it fall apart but now it seems like it's finally happening regardless.
Other than just wrapping it in tape is there any way to stop this from happening?

This exact thing happened to mine, and likely everyone else’s. It’s just a really poorly thought out material to be using for that sort of area. I ended up rubbing all of that material’s surface off the headset so I could be sure it wouldn’t be flaking off while using it.

No, it’s all going to flake off eventually but the foam should be okay for use.
Happened to mine. No use trying to stop it, just peel it all off and save the mess 🙂
Weird question but has the quality of the Lenses have dropped since you first bought it? 😀
